The most important function of design is organization. That's also why I decided to build this bookshelf with narrow columns. It's easier to organize in compartments. We also have a lot of books, so this makes sense for us.
I used these Maria boxes from Saant Home to organize the thinner children's books that won't stand on their own. They're perfect! Best part is that my children can carry these bins themselves whenever they want to bring a set of books into their rooms.
